Contact details such as your name, phone number and email address when you enquire or book an appointment.
Health and medical information you provide at consultation, which forms part of your clinical record.
Photographs taken for clinical records, only where you have given specific written consent, and separately again if they are ever to be used publicly.
Technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, collected automatically when you use this website.

To respond to your enquiry and arrange appointments.
To keep an accurate clinical record, as is required of a healthcare professional.
To send appointment confirmations, aftercare instructions and review reminders.
To meet legal, regulatory and insurance obligations.

Clinical records are held securely and are accessible only to Dr Julie Ridley.
Records are retained for the period required for healthcare records and then securely destroyed.
Your information is never sold, and it is never shared for marketing purposes.
Information is shared with a third party only where clinically necessary or where the law requires it.

You can request a copy of the information held about you.
You can ask for inaccurate information to be corrected.
You can withdraw consent to marketing contact at any time.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not satisfied with how your information has been handled.

Appointments are booked in advance and confirmed by message or email.
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange, so the time can be offered to someone else.
A deposit may be requested to secure certain appointments. Where one applies, it is explained before you book.
Arriving significantly late may mean the appointment has to be shortened or rearranged, because sessions are not booked back to back.

No treatment is carried out without a consultation and your written, informed consent.
Treatment may be declined or deferred where it is not clinically appropriate for you.
You can change your mind at any point, including after a plan has been agreed and before treatment begins.

You must give a full and accurate medical history, including medication, supplements and any previous aesthetic treatment.
Tell us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive, as this affects what can be offered.
Some medical conditions and medications make treatment unsuitable, or make it sensible to wait.

Results vary between individuals and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
Swelling and bruising are normal and results should be judged once they have settled, usually at around two weeks.
A review appointment is included after treatment and you are encouraged to attend it.
Aftercare instructions are given in writing and following them affects both your result and your safety.

Payment is due on the day of treatment unless something else has been agreed in advance.
Prices are confirmed in writing at consultation before you commit to anything.
Any deposit paid is deducted from the treatment cost.

If you have a concern after treatment, contact the clinic straight away rather than waiting for your review appointment.
Complaints are handled directly by Dr Julie Ridley in the first instance.
